Apps' Mill Nature Centre

Apps' Mill Nature Centre is located between Paris and Brantford. In 1981, SC Johnson and Son Limited of Brantford donated the attractive modern centre with its two classrooms and large auditorium.

Whitemans Creek flows through the 107 hectare (266 acre) nature centre property of mature forest, fields and plantations. On the property lies the historic 1841 Apps' Flour and Grist Mill and remnants of the millrace and pond. Several walking trails provide an opportunity to explore the area. Brant Conservation Area is also located within a few minutes drive.

Long-term partnerships with the Grand Erie District School Board and the Brant Haldimand-Norfolk Catholic District School Board enable school classes to take part in environmental education at the centre throughout the school year. In addition, community programs are available year round.

Where is Apps' Mill Nature Centre?

Apps' Mill lies south of Paris and can be reached from Highway 403. Exit south on Rest Acres Road, and turn right on Robinson Road.
