2008/2009 Season

The 2008/2009 Season at the Sanderson Centre is now in full swing. As the weather gets cooler and the busy pace from summer begins to slow down, why not plan a night out on the town by taking in a live performance at the Sanderson Centre, followed by a drink or dessert in one of the downtown cafes or eateries.

Derek Miller - Blues/Rock Performance

2008 Juno and Canadian Aboriginal Music Award winner Derek Miller will rock the theatre with his own blend of rock and blues.

Looking for something to do with your little one? Or anxious to get some much needed parenting information and support? Why not visit the Ontario Early Years Centre: Brant - I was absolutely amazed at how much they offer to parents and caregivers of children 0-6 years of age. They have many parent and child interactive workshops that require you to register, or you can participate in one of their drop-in programs.

Together Time - Drop in Program

This is a play based drop in program designed to promote children’s development and a readiness to learn. Parents/caregivers are invited to bring their child and come to play, enjoy a nutritious snack and build healthy relationships.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am - 12pm
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 1pm - 4pm
  • Tuesday 5pm - 8pm

Just Baby and Me - Drop in Program

Bring your babies under 12 months of age to come and play in a safe, stimulating and fun environment. Join in for discussions, activities and information sharing.

Hello Everyone, and Welcome to Brantford Source

This is the blog for BrantfordSource.com in which we will feature festivals, events, attractions and restaurants for local residents and tourists visiting our wonderful city Brantford, Ontario.

We will be showcasing weekly features that are sure to get you out and enjoying this beautiful city that I and over 90,000 other Brantfordites call home. Be sure to check in often so as not to miss a moment of all that Brantford has to offer.

Mondays we are going to highlight the various festivals and events from the weekend prior. Have any pictures from your weekend escapades? Be sure to email us with them if you are interested in making them a part of this feature.

Tuesdays are Family Day, and each week we are going to blog about Kid friendly activities that you and your little ones can participate in - right in the heart of Brantford.

Wednesdays, looking for something fun and different to do this weekend? Check back each and every Wednesday for festivals and events that are happening right in our very city!

Thursdays, we are going to feature a different restaurant each week, while we try to dine out for $10 or less! Everyone loves a good deal, and we are no exception.

Friday, to round out the week we are going to interview different entrepreneurs and business owners in the Brantford area. Opening you up to all of the different services and businesses Brantford has to offer. Interested in being featured? Email us to make it happen.

Saturdays, or as I like to call it - Shopahlic Saturdays, are going to highlight different shopping venues around Brantford. We might even share the different bargains we got with you.
